When you register, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, username, encrypted password, and profile photograph (if you upload one).
We automatically collect device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, browser type, and IP address.
Pages viewed, features accessed, searches conducted, reports submitted, session duration, links clicked, and application crash and error data.
Where you grant permission, we collect precise real-time GPS location data to deliver location-relevant features such as traffic updates, nearby market listings, and local security alerts. You may withdraw location permission at any time through your device settings.
Records of your communications with us, including your contact details and the content of your messages, retained when you contact us for support or report an issue.
Content you submit to the platform including traffic reports, security alerts, news tips, reviews, comments, and photographs.
Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors (including app stores). We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Your push notification preferences, marketing consents, and other consent-based communication settings.
We collect personal data through: direct interaction (registration, profile updates, content submissions, contacting us); automated technologies (cookies, log files, pixels, and tracking tools); third-party platforms (Google Play Store, Apple App Store, analytics providers, where permitted by those platforms); and device sensors (GPS and other sensors where you have granted permission).

To exercise any right, email info@mylagosapp.mobi with the subject line Data Subject Request. We will respond within 30 days in accordance with NDPR requirements and may verify your identity before processing. We will not charge a fee in normal circumstances.
MyLagosApp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with data without consent, please contact us immediately at info@mylagosapp.mobi.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our data practices, new legal requirements, or service improvements. Material changes will be communicated by updating the Effective Date, displaying an in-app notice, and/or emailing your registered address. Continued use of MyLagosApp following an update constitutes acceptance of the changes.
